blood in stool and abdominal pain?

- 3 months ago I had my appendix out.
- I went to ER with pretty bad crampy pain coming from lower right stomach. I was operated on that day
- Turns out I didn’t have appendicitis but a bag of poisonous fluid around appendix
- Have had crampy pains on lower right side ever since
- they have moved to lower left as well
- I have had 5 stools with blood in last 2 months
- Yellow mucus in most stools
- It REALLY hurts to push in around belly button area and to left and right lower sides
- Doctor is pretty sure I have pain in colon/large intestine
- Am having tests in a week
- I always feel tired
- sometimes get a REALLY sharp pain on lower left side ( I am doubled up with it) This only happens on left

So if you are passing blood in your stool with mucous it can be a few things…

If the blood is black or dark colored, it is a problem in your upper GI which is your stomach.
That would most likely be a stomach ulcer in this case. If you have an ulcer, this can be cured and healed with treatment.

If the blood is fresh (like bright red) it’s your lower GI which is your colon.

It is possible that you have the following condtions that have most of the symptoms you are presenting:
Ulcerative Colitis
Inflammable Bowel Disease
Chron’s Disease
Diverticulitis
These condtions are annoying and painful but are managable.

However, I don’t think it has anything to do with your surgery. You would have been presented with symptoms a lot earlier than three months. What it could also be (if you don’t have one of those condtions I’ve mentioned), is that your original problem has returned. If I were you though, I would go to an ER if you are in that much pain. Because if the original problem is back, you don’t want to risk it. I’m not trying to worry you, I just want to telay to you that you should trust your body and if you feel it needs attention sooner rather than later, you should go to an ER.
