lower abdominal pain spasms
IBS, spasms, and abdominal pressure… familiar to anyone?
I have bad constipation. So if I have IBS (not sure if I do, yet), it’s *definitely* IBS-C.
Anyway, the feeling is almost constant. I have a feeling of pressure, things pulling and pushing, lots of spasms (especially after eating, or after a bowel movement), and sometimes pain, especially around the lower back.
I also have this “snapping” or “crackling” sensation going on down there. I have trouble sleeping on my side (either side) as it can get painful.
I also get spasms that spread to the rest of my body, sometimes.
All in all, I’m getting a lot of weird symptoms and it seems the source is in my bowels, or digestive system.
Is this familar to anyone with bad IBS, severe constipation… or does this sound like another condition altogether?
It’s really killing me. It makes everyday life THAT much harder, I can’t concentrate with this, and it affects my walking too (I have pressure and spasms in my lower back.) Any ideas..?
Unfortunately, constipation, both chronic and intermittent, is often a symptom of Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
I add a link with details of IBS, which you may find interesting. Should more detailed medical information be required, you would be advised to contact your doctor.
