I’m having problems?

I’ve been to my doctor recently and he thinks I have a liver problem. I’m a 20 year old man, I don’t smoke or drink. I’m not overweight and I am not sexually active and I haven’t had any botch blood transfusions or been abroad. I tend to have pain in my abdominal cavity and I do suffer from bowel problems. My doctor knows all these problems I have. I hope if there is anyone who can share some knowledge.

Why in the world would he ever think you have a liver problem? You haven’t given a single reason for him thinking that. If your liver function numbers are normal and you have no symptoms, then there is no liver problem. The liver has no nerve endings and should not hurt you. I had end stage liver disease and had to get a liver transplant. My liver never hurt me during the entire time. There is a lot of other symptoms, but pain wasn’t one of them. I think you need to find a new doctor who knows what they are talking about. Either that or ask the doctor what physical evidence he has such as lab work, tests, etc. that shows a liver problem other than him just guessing at it. If he can’t come up with anything, find yourself a new doctor cause this one is not good. Bowel problems often causes pain and discomfort. It’s quite common. But that has nothing to do with your liver.
