Will my first period after having Mirena placed be on time?
I had Mirena placed on March 1st and my periods before that had been exactly every 5 weeks so I’m curious if my period will come in the next few days or not.
I had been spotting on and off since I got it in and I have had severe abdominal pain as well.
Probably not. A friend of mine has mirena and her periods are almost never on time.
You also need to contact your doctor. You shouldn’t be having severe abdominal pain. A rare side effect is that it can push through your uterus or your body can also reject it.
