abdominal pain testicular pain
Am I a hypochondriac or are my actions justified?
This past summer I was experiencing a lot of testicular pain and I thought i may have had testicular torsion so I went and got an ultrasound done of my testicles and I did not have testicular torsion but rather epididymitis. Last week I was having a lot of abdominal pain and I was constipated for several days, so I thought I had appendicitis and went to the emergency room, spent 8 hours there and got a CAT scan. Nothing came back and they suggested that I was just constipated. Now the same testicle as before is bothering me and I think I may have twisted it. I’m not sure if I am just being a hypochonriac or if I should actually be concerned. I don’t wan to spend the rest of my life in the hospital just because I think I may have something wrong with me.
IDK, but if allopathy is unable to identify the cause, a sensible way is to consider it as psychosomatic pain, and treat it as such, and see what occurs. Hypochondria is addressed at http://your-mental-health.8m.com/blank_24.html and anxiety on pages 1, and i. If this doesn’t help – it could be referred pain, but I’m not a doctor.
