Can a UTI get worse after being treated??? Urgent!!!!?
About a weak ago I went to the doctors because of some very bad abdominal pain, after a few labs they diagnoses a UTI infection caused by Proteus Malibilis a bacteria, after the treatment my back didn’t hurt and I felt better, but yesterday after urinating I cleaned myself and the paper was stained with blood. my White Blood Cell count is also up yo 50. Is it possible for a UTI to get worse after treatment?
UTI can turn into kidney infections and if you have blood in your urine it sounds like this could be the case. Your should return to your physician, do not leave it untreated.
