Anyone able to help me out with PCOS?

So, I was diagnosed with pcos two weeks ago. I was put on Provera and Metformin to begin treatment. I had a full pelvic exam and pap. I haven’t heard anything back from my doctor about the pap, so I’m assuming everything is normal. (Should I call to see for sure?) Anyway, I’ve been experiencing Nausea and lower abdominal pain for almost a solid month. The metformin makes me even more sick and I have classes in the morning so I don’t take it before I head off to school. If I did, I’d end up missing all of my professor’s lecture and they tend to frown upon that in Nursing School. ;-) Plus, I don’t wanna miss. I also feel like I run a temp sometimes and I’m just overall exhausted constantly. I don’t have an appetite most meals and decide to nap instead of eat because I’m just that exhausted. Is this all a part of the pcos? or should I be a little more concerned?

Hey Hun, I have pcos, too. Met did the same thing for me, untill my body got used to it…it’s pretty damn powerful, I was on 1000mg, then 1500mg a day…and watch what you eat, it can react badly! But yes, met made me really tired and i would nap everyday after work..i was wiped out. Some people take their met before bed @ night, that might help you, as well… Good luck! Also, If you havn’t seen www.soulcyster.com, try it out, i’ve found such usful info there over the past few years!
