abdominal pain physical exam
am I pregnant?
I went to the emergency room last night because I’ve been having cramping, backaches, dizzzzzinesssss, headaches, have had nausea recently and late for two (2) months straight, although I have a regular period and I’d say my eating habits are good (not over/under weight) The doctor performed a urine test, which came up negative as my other home preg. tests, but didn’t perform an actual physical exam (pelvic,or sono) as I expected. She just used the stethoscope on my chest, back and abdominal area, and sent me home with an appointment to see my gyn 3 weeks from now. I still feel like crap, and in pain. Should I wait to see a doctor? or go back to the same or different hospital?
For most people their menstrual period my cause these type of symptons so that may be the case. This is due to our bodies constantly changing because of the things we eat or do {exercising regularly, or not} to it. But beacuse your having these symptoms as if your body is telling you, your pregnant than you just may be. I had my menses during the first two months I was pregnant with both of my children. Also with the stick test some times the hormones that they test for can’t be found in some people until the 2 trimenster{about 4 month into your pregnancy}.They could give you a blood test if you really think your pregnant, and that would comfirm any feelings you may have. Hope this was helpful. P.S. if your symtoms seem to worsten go back no matter what people tell you because you only get one body and you need to preserve it for the rest of your life.
