stomach pain fever chills
unusual stool and stomach pain for over 3 months?
Since late October, I have had a change in bowel movements. I am having stool that alternate from normal (width wise) to narrow, passing mucous, and I have to strain when having a bowel movement or it won’t come out. Lately (within a month or so), I have been feeling slightly chilled, appetite is lost quickly, stomach pain (which is relatively mild, yet chronic), lot’s of bloating and gas(which I also have to force out). My stomach doesn’t really hurt to touch or press, and there are no hard spots. For the past 2 weeks or so, my chest wall has been hurting, along with mild leg pains everyday, in both legs that won’t let up at times. From time to time, I experience low grade fever 99.0; and sometimes it’s even too low; (like 96.0). I went to the emergency room twice. On both occasions, they found nothing. They did a CT scan of the entire region, blood work, urine, and it all came back excellent. I’m at my wits end. I don’t know WHAT to do! HELP. PS. I’m 29 years old.
A Gastroentorologist should review your file.
Ask your general practitioner to refer you to a Gastroentorologist practising in a University teaching hospital.
It could be anything, but I wouldn’t wait anymore. If it’s serious, the sooner you know, the better.
Best of luck.
