I have mono and yesterday my doctor said my organs weren’t swollen but today I’m have abdominal pain?

It’s been a week since I was diagnosed with mono, and I’m having a pain on the right side below my ribs and it wasn’t too bad but when I burped it was a really sharp pain, am I just imagining things? i went to my doctor yesterday for a follow up and she said my organs weren’t swollen. Is this anything to be concerned about? It’s not my spleen because it’s not the left side, it’s on the right side but could there be something wrong with my liver or gallbladder?

If you’re having abdominal pain it’s time to see your doctor again. Swelling of the internal organs can come on pretty fast and it’s better to safe than sorry later because you didn’t get it checked out.
