Are you supposed to feel pain/cramps in early pregnancy?

I’m not sure if I’m pregnant or not, I’m also not getting work up by this. I’m a little late and my breasts are sore but this could be from my period. The only unusual thing is that I’m experiencing really bad cramps and when I lay down, I have a sharp pains in my lower stomach. If you’re pregnant, isn’t pain a bad thing?

No actually when your pregnant, pain is normal….sorry to say. Your body begins to stretch and make a home for your little person who starts growing at a fairly rapid rate so you will experience some pulling and stretching and cramping. It’s when the pain is unbearable and accompanied by bleeding that you need to be concerned. If your already late, take a test!
