abdominal pain thyroid disease
Medical Question!?
I am a 25 year old female. I have graves disease, graves eye disease and a swollen lymph node in my lower abdomen. I have had Graves Disease for about 1 year. I just had a thyroid ultrasound and it showed that there is a nodule on the thryoid. I have a goiter on both sides of the thyroid. I have to undergo a thyroid biopsy before we can go any further. I also have the abdominal lymphnode that is swollen and I have sharp pains off and on from that. I have had 2 cat scans and 4 rounds of antibiotics with no results. There is a lymphnode biopsy planned as well. My question(s) are this, Will this be painful? The other is can these conditions be related at all? There are no other nodes swollen that we can tell. Any advice at all will be appreciated. Thank you and God bless…
you are young ,i am sorry to hear you have graves.you are tuff i can already tell.just hang in there they will be able to tell soon and be able to answer all your questions,but make sure you are going to the right Dr.for this.a biopsy is uncomfortable i have had two.almost painful is a better word for it ,but you can do it .treatment at your age and with your strength and knowledge will be on your side.so get your self reved up and get tough and beat this !what ever it is!!!!
