Can anyone tell me about how severe the side-effects are if one drinks alcohol while taking metronidazole?
I am on a seven-day dose of Flagyl and heard that alcohol can cause severe stomach pains and vomiting if taken at the same time. But, the unfortunate thing is my sister’s wedding is this weekend and I will surely want to indulge in a bit of drinking however I don’t want to jeapordize my health…Is just a drink or two ok?
yeah, it could be serious, besides what the other response was u could have severe abdominal cramps, flushing, headache, & of course the vomiting
