Why do I feel like I have a lump in my throat?

For about the past 3 months, I’ve almost constantly had a feeling in my throat like a lump by my adam’s apple. At the same time I feel as though I am sick to my stomach (nausea). I hardly ever have an appetite and maybe once a week I’ll feel good. Usually after I eat is when the pain get’s to be the worst. It feels as though something like food or something is stuck in my throat and can’t be swallowed. I’ve had an upper GI/ barium exam and ultrasound and everything appeared normal. What could this be?

I’m sorry to hear that, but if your medical doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong, I doubt a bunch of random Yahoo! Answers people will get you better results…
