Lower abdominal and back pain with discharge TMI?
Since Sunday I have been having mild to moderate cramps in my lower stomach feeling like I’m about to start my period or am on my period. The pain also feels like I’m a tad constipated, but not.
Sometimes the pain goes into my lower back, but doesn’t last very long. I also have clear vaginal discharge after using the bathroom.
The pain does not prefer one side over the other. I also feel lower pressure similar to when I’m on my period.
I am breastfeeding and taking medicine that can affect my period so I have not had a period since 2 months postpartum and my daughter is 10 mo.
Any ideas?
Clear vaginal discharge is ovulation mucus…I beleive your period is 2 weeks away. It is common to get pains midcycle….its called Mittleschmertz. I am guessing that your beautiful daughter is on solids as well as breastmilk at 10mths so its likely she is drinking less form you which has triggered your hormones back into action. I was exactly the same with my first baby…he started walking at 10mths and gave the breast up at the same time and like majic my periods came back.
