Strep throat or viral infection?
my symptoms:
red and white patches in the throat
difficulty swallowing
tender or swollen glands (lymph nodes) in the neck
headache
lower stomach pain
ill feeling
Those are all symptoms of strep throat but fever is also one of the main symptoms and i have a temperature of 99 degrees so my mom said i could have a viral infection instead.
does anyone know if this is strep throat or a viral infection?
if it is a viral infection, then what kind is it and how do i treat it?
Probably streptococcal tonsillitis..need penicillin or erythromycin.
