stomach pain diagrams
Is this cramping in my uterus?
So when I get my period, I get these pretty intense pains in…
I’ve always thought they were in the very-high parts of my legs, like to the sides of where the ovaries usually are in diagrams. I’m assuming it’s uterus cramping, but I’m not positive. The thing is, I also feel nauseous when I have these pains and I don’t know how that would have anything to do with my uterus.
A few other questions….
1) How effective would a heating pad be for me, if it is uterus cramping?
2) How do soda and saltines help stomach aches? It seems ironic to me since everyone’s always like “NO SODA IS UNHEALTHY DON’T DRINK IT EVER”. Will they help with what I have, too?
3) Does it have to be saltines AND crackers or will just soda work? Specifically fountain cream soda. We’re out of crackers and I’m worried I’ll get my period very soon.
4) How long should I expect a heating pad and/or saltines and crackers to take until I start feeling better?
A heating pad may work or may not, just as a warm bath, you have to find what feels good to you.
Saltines only helps with nausea, it gives the stomach acids something to work on other than the lining of your stomach.
Soda? Most find Sprite of 7up calming to the stomach, because like saltines they are bland.
Pain relief is different for diffident people, when I was young (15-17), I found that a heating pad and being in kind of a curled position helped the best with my cramps. Good Luck
