please answer if you’ve had the coil removed?

i got my mirena coil removed on thursday.
the reason i got it removed is because for the final month and a half i had it in, i had a light period that lasted 3 weeks with bad periosd pains, then it stopped for a week then came back again with bad period pains.
so i went and got swabs taken and it came back clear of anything so the doc removed it and gave me the contraceptive injection.
i was still in pain that day but was a bit better the next day but still bleeding, then saturday it got really heavy with little bloodcloths that would show up on the tissue, and also my stomach was really bloated.
today still in pain right in my uterus, pelvic pain and pains in my legs. lower back pain and bloated belly, so im just wondering is this normal? im googling but cant find anything for painfull heavy periods after coil removal

however, I can help…. Are you running a fever by any chance? if so think about the possibility that you may have an infection. It shouldn’t be causing you intense pain like you are saying after removal. This could also be side effects from the injection you received. You can call your local obgyn dept and talk to a nurse about this if you are really that worried. =] good luck.
