Stabbing abdominal pain?
A friend of mine (in their early 20s FYI) is suffering from abdominal pains that started behind the ribs and has moved lower since. They also seems to have heartburn and loose stools. They’re being stubborn about seeing a doctor because of bad experiences in the past and I’m trying to see if I can at least determine if this is life-threatening or if there is a simpler answer. Anyone have any ideas?
Needs fiber (maybe some phillips MOM) or to stop drinking alcohol.
If it is neither of these then tell them they can go to the Dr. now or wait until it becomes a visit to the emergency room.
