Post Op Laparoscopic surgery?

Just had my gallbladder removed, what can i do to ease the pain, and how long will it take, its hard to sleep face up all night, because of the 4 holes in the stomach whats a good way to sleep any god advice or what can i do right now to recover faster?

I feel your pain. In December I had knee surgery and I had to have my knee in a machine that moved it all night, so I HAD to sleep on my back and I am a side sleeper. I don’t know how it feel to have incisions in the stomach, but some things that worked for me are I took my pain meds about an hour before I was ready to really go to sleep and I also had a cup of non-caffeine tea and I lowered the lights in my room, so I could relax for a little while before I actually tried to sleep. Sometimes I would try sleeping sitting up a little bit more rather than laying down flat. Not sure if you can do that with your incisions, but you could try it. I’m not sure if this will help you, but I just wanted to offer some suggestions. I hope you feel better soon!
