Stomach and Abdominal Pain?
I woke up this morning at around 4 A.M. with a large amount of pain in the area of my abdominal, near and below my belly-button. I tried taking a pill that claimed to relieve abdominal pain, but it was really one that prevents diarrhea. I took two of them. Now, it’s about 6 P.M. and I’ve had ongoing stomach and abdominal pains all day. I’ve tried taking various forms of laxative, but they’ve done nothing. One thing that did relieve me, however, was vomiting. I find that I cannot stand up straight and when I lie down, I experience the pain. My stomach and abdominal also hurt while I was standing up when urinating, but not when sitting down. Does anyone know what this could be, and how I could relieve it?
I think you may have an inflamed pancreas. It’s called Pancreatitis. I had the same symptoms about 7 months ago. The doctors at first said it may be irritable bowel syndrome, but it wasn’t. They had to do an ultrasound and blood work to determine it. Check out www.mayoclinic.com .. they have a lot of information that may help you.
