Could this bleeding be caused by stopping my birth control pills?

Last week, i took 3 days worth of Ortho Tri cyclen… i’ve never taken this birth control pill before and i was just starting out on it, but after the 3 days i stopped taking it because it made me extremely nauseous. A few days later, i start having really bad back pain and right abdominal pain, and bleeding extremely heavily. I went to the ER but didnt tell them about the birth control pill thing because it didnt register to me that that might be what caused it. They told me they thought it may be a kidney stone and sent me home. The pain is a little better but i’m bleeding so bad, and it’s full of clots. What in the hell is wrong with me?

I think it will be because of the pill because even though you were only taking it for 3 days maybe you were about to get your period anyway so because you stopped the pill it has made it heavier
