stomach pain right upper quadrant
definite symptoms of overdose?
a few days ago i fear that i overdosed on panadol (paracytemol) or (acemorpanite or wateva its called in the US) anyway its been 5 days and ive had a constant stomach ache and pain in upper right quadrant which are some of the symptoms. but i havnt turned yellow and i havnt vomited. so do u think ive overdosed. ps i had 20 pills over 5 days (500mg)
It is recommended that you take no more that 8 x 500mg paracetamol in any 24 hr period. It sounds unlikely that you have overdosed if you only took 20 tablets. Paracetamol is highly toxic to the liver (upper right abdominal quadrant). See your doctor if you’re worried, and they should take a series of blood liver function tests.
