What could this stomach pain be? Could antacids cure it?

Right now I have pain and discomfort in the center of my stomach where my solar plexus is. It hurts quite badly and it feels like the pain and burning sensation you get when you don’t eat all day. I’ve been stressed and I have been working out a lot and eating less than I used to, and last night I thought I was extremely hungry so I ate an apple. I haven’t eaten much since then except bread, a banana, milk, and vitamin water…

I have a past of not eating breakfast and I have been able to put up with the burning sensation for years, however I think I might have pushed it too far even though I ate breakfast today.

I fear I might have a sore of some sort at the bottom of my esophagus and at the top of my stomach area… Could I take antacids to relieve the pain? and if I continue food intake (it relieves the pain) will this pain heal?

Sorry for the long explanation, I’m only 16 and I’m stressed out over everything right now… Thanks in advance!

It is really important to go see your doctor about this. It is possible you have ulcerations of the stomach lining an/or the esophagus. Untreated this can lead to a variety of problems including cancer. So please get it checked out as soon as you can. It is probable that the doctor will put you on Prilosec or the like until it is cleared up.

Now, it is crucial at your age to eat healthy as your body is busy trying to grow. I know you have heard it before, but a good breakfast is really important. Eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and a portion of a good protein (meat, chicken, fish) is needed on a daily basis.

k? Take care of yourself, she seem like a bright person.
