stomach pain fasting
5 year old son complaining of stomach pain and fast heartbeat!?
ok so 3 days ago my son started complaining that his stomach hurted. he would go to school and be fine and when he came home thats when the pain would start. so that was day 1 and i thought he needed a little rest and in the morning things would be fine. day 2 he wakes up and feels better. he goes to school comes home and again his stomach hurts. day 3 (today) he wakes up goes to school again and comes home saying his stomach hurts. this time he is crying and saying his heart is beating too fast. i take his temperature and no fever. he is sweaty but not hot! im wondering what i should do…..its his upper middle stomach that hurts….any advice?
Get medical attention first to rule out any medical problem.
If nothing shows, I would also look into the possibility of a mold or other chemical exposure. Sounds remote, but maybe there’s something at his school or in your home that’s causing these reactions. Has anything changed recently? Home, school, etc? Has there been any flooding or water damage anywhere that he’s going to? How about chemicals or pesticides?
These may sound like really odd questions, but those are the exact symptoms that I had when I was first exposed to HIDDEN black mold in my home…it was behind the drywall and in the AC ducts. Don’t let anyone tell you it can’t be a problem. It can be a very serious one to those that are sensitive.
Sounds like the problem may be at the school. How is he on the weekends? Can you keep him home for a day or two to see if the symptoms disappear?
