Constant Hunger Pains Stomach Ache?
Constant Hunger Pains Stomach Ache What Is It i’m Not Pregnant been going on for a week now?
I have had for about a week now these endless constant hunger pains and even when I eat they won’t let up.I am 32 and have 5 kids I am fixed so I know I am not pregnant. I just wish this would stop I am losing sleep over it.It feels empty and pulsating and hurts sometimes.
I forgot to mention that I have multiple sclerosis but I doubt that has anything to do with it.
Your blood sugars are increasing your appetite. You need to try a diabetic diet. A diet low in carbohydrates and high in protein. Try drinking 3 cups of milk a day and have three servings of protein based foods. With this you should have 6-8 half cup servings of vegetables a day and one serving of fresh fruit, a serving is about 4 oz. You can have up to 4 servings of high fiber, high protein carbohydrates per day. This needs to be balanced with milk or a protein serving.
Lack of sleep can also make us feel hungry. Do go to bed at the same time every night and avoid naps during the day. Do try and exercise as tolerated, this will help with the ms as well as give you time away from the table and help you to sleep at night.
Do try to decrease your stress levels. Try relaxing tapes. You can try self hypnosis tapes to help you with health and relaxation.
This should reduce those hunger pains, unless you are on a hunger stimulating medication.
Sweet potato’s, help balance blood sugar levels as does protein. You may not have any sugar in your diet, not in bakery items, candy or pop or on cereal or anything as one hour after you eat, you will be raging hungry again.
Do make sure you get enough magnesium in your diet, meat is a good source as is nuts.
Do make sure you drink 8 ounces of water, 8 times a day. Sometimes we think we are hungry and we are really thirsty. Our thirst reflex decreases as we grow older. If you feel you are thirsty they say you are down a quart.
Hope this helps.
