stomach pain grease
My daughter has had stomach aches her whole 7 years. What could it be?
The doctor ordered Lactaid milk when she was little. When she stopped drinking much milk, we stopped buying it. 1% cows milk for breakfast and lunch doesn’t bother her now. He said she has allergies and stuffy nose, so she was swallowing air. Try Sudafed. It wasn’t that. She’s also been constipated for about a year, so is on Miralax daily. No more constipation but stomach aches remain. I did a 3 month food diary and the only common threads I see are that pizza always bothers her and so does McDonald’s chicken Mcnuggets. Other stomach aches don’t fit that thread. I wondered about the lactose thing again, since she likes cheese, but refuses to eat process cheese, and when she does eat cheese (primarily on pizza) she gets the pain. But lactose in cheese is much lower than in milk. Thought about the grease too, but what about hamburgers etc..? They don’t always/usually bother her. Any ideas?
It’s really impossible for anyone on the internet to try and diagnose your little girl. My best suggestion is that you take her to see a gastroenterologist, a stomach specialist. They could get to the bottom of this; a pediatrician never will.
