stomach pain tricor
Please help,”Black Stools”,,,,?
I was recently diagnosed through a CAT scan with a thickening of the bowel.I am scheduled to have a sigmoidoscopy and a colonoscopy done on the 30th of this month.I am 44 years old and have always been very healthy up until recently when I started have tremendous stomach pains.I take Ativan,Tricor, and recently Vicodin for the pain I have been experiencing.I am having an issue with my stool is now turned black,,every time i go to the restroom. Can the medicine I am taking or the dye from the CAT scan be causing this?
Black stools means you have blood in your stool. You need to go to the doctor soon, because you are bleeding somewhere in your digestive tract. If it turns bright red, go to the doctor immediately.
