stomach pain rub gently
Kitten trouble! Please Help!!!?
My kitten is about 6 weeks old. He was abandoned, and I took him up off the side of the road. I have had him for about a week and a half. I stopped giving him whole milk, about 48 hours ago, because his stomach was very bloated. I just started giving him kitten milk. His stomach is still bloated, but not as much as before.He is always in the litter box and can’t seem to go, as I am typing this, he has gone to the litter box 4 times already, and nothing is coming out, but his bottom is wet, as if he had diarrhea, but has a foul, kind of rotting smell. His back legs are spread out as he walks and sits, as if he was in pain, he is also meowing in pain. When he walks, his hind legs are out to the side, like he was doing a “low crawl in the army”. I have been rubbing a wet paper towel gently on his bottom to “simulate” his mother licking. Please help, I’m really scared for his safety and I can’t stand to see him in pain.
TAKE HIM TO THE VET ASAP!
