aybody else find tramadol ineffective for pain?

I have Crohns Disease and suffer severe stomach pain.Doctors are increasingly trying to get me to take tramadol. It does not even touch my pain and I find other codeine based drugs work far better. I am starting to feel like an addict because I have to almost plead for meds that work. I have had 7 major surgeries on my bowel and it is really tiring having this hassle

Tramadol is totally worthless, probably wouldn’t even help a headache. After what you’ve been through, your doctor should be banned from the proffession for even mentioning that junk. Have you thought about another, more sympathetic doc that you do not have to beg to for the right medicine. 10mgs. Oxycodone pills really take the edge off better than hydrocodone or codeine. The only better thing without getting into the really strong stuff you will get addicted to is Oxycontin, which itself is very addictive and most doctors are now loathe to prescribe it.
