stomach pain belly button
I am having this pain around my belly button, It feels a bit like acid. I have more frequent bowl movements. It happened rather suddenly (3 hours) It is not Appendicitis (very little pain on lower right) I have eaten alot of gummy bears today =). Its 3 hours in and it doesn’t get better/worse. I had a similar pain (but closer to my ribs) before and took a prilosec otc which helped. I don’t have anymore =(. Please help! (I am a worrier)
Take some Maalox extra strength liquid that also relieves gas. You may just be having gas pains. If you think it’s acid, eat a couple pieces of plain white bread. It will soak up the acid. Try a Coke Cola. Take a couple of quick gulps which should make you burp, that will relieve gas, and hopefully the pain around your belly button. If the pain continues, better get it checked out. May have a umbilitical hernia. Good luck to you sir and hope you can get some needed relief.
