fever stomach pain rash
What are some of the side effects of teething?? Rash?
I know there may be: runny nose, fever, alot of drooling, pain… but what else?
Can there be rashes? Ear infections?
I’m asking because my 11 month old is teething and he has developed a a rash that I have only seen him have one time before which is when he had oatmeal rice cereal. I am trying to figure out the cause of this rash.. its really bad on the back of his neck, and its also on his stomach, and arms, and face.. I’m going to call the doctor in the morning but I would like some opinions as well… Thanks.
he tugs at his ears, he pulls his hair, and he screams from time to time… Just wondering mainly about this rash.. and I bath him daily… it’s not going away, its spreading from his neck to the top of his back.. and this is the 3rd day.
Usually if they get a rash it’s on their chin and cheeks from all the saliva. I’ve been told they can have symptoms of ear infections. The crying and tugging on the ears, if there is an ear infection it’s probably secondary to teething. Most baby’s (70%) from 6 months-3 years get ear infections. I wouldn’t be too concerned, unless you notice breathing problems or itchyness or other signs of an allergic reaction. Have you changed anything recently? Laundry detergent, new foods, new air freshiner, etc?
