symptoms abdominal pain dizziness
how many people have had their gallbladders removed and what symptoms did you have?
I have gallstones and was really sick for 2 months. I am slowly getting better but am still pretty sick. I wanted to know what kind of symptoms people had before they had their gallbladders removed? i have had 2 months of vomitting, naseau when I eat, pressure bloating and gas when I eat, diareah, really tired, headaches, shakiness, abdominal pain, back pain and dizziness. I am just now able to eat and drink with no nausea or throwing up, but still have the other symptoms. How long before they decide I need the stones removed or my gallbladder? Any people want to share their experiences? I go see my Dr. today and am taking someone with me to vouch for how sick I have been.
I have not had gallbladder problems, but I have had symptoms which made my doctors think I did, therefore giving me an upper GI scan. The symptoms I had were pain behind my breast bone, radiating into my back, sometimes between the shoulder blades, the pain after eating, and fullness/bloating. I heard from a few people, that having their gallbladder removed only fixed their problem temp, and it returned a few weeks later. Changing your diet can save it and really help. At this point, all you can really do is be re evaluated and ask for another upper GI scan (if you have).
My problem was acid reflux (so they said, giving up on me) but today, I still have random pains and have been for about 3 years.
