burning stomach pain doctor
How long before going to a doctor for vomiting and stomach cramps?
My husband has had non-stop stomach pain for the last 17 hours. He describes it as a burning pain. He woke up to this at 5:30 this morning with vomiting starting about a half hour later.
He hasn’t thrown up in the last 4 hours at least, but the stomach pain is relentless.
He also has a low grade fever of 99.7
It’s probably a virus or something he ate
My question is…when is a stomach ache or *burning serious? He’s the type who waits until he’s half dead before he goes to a doctor, but I’m thinking if he isn’t better by tomorrow morning it could be more serious than some virus and needs medical attention.
He should go to the doctor now. At least call the doctor. You want to make sure his appendix isn’t bursting. Hopefully, it is just a virus that will go away on its own but it is better to be safe than sorry. I hope he feels better soon.
