Lower Abdominal Pain/Cramping?
I am 27 weeks and have been having lower abdominal cramping for about three hours. It is not painful, it feels like menstrual cramps. I called the Dr and she said to drink lots of water and lay down on my side. I was having braxton-hicks contractions and she said that if I had 5 in an hour to go to the hospital. I only had one after I talked to her 2 hours ago. Could this just be my uterus stretching or something more serious?
It’s most likely the position of the baby and normal aches and pains. If you do notice the pain coming and going at regular 5 – 10 min intervals for about an hour, definately go get checked out. But for now it sounds like your baby is in there stretching and moving around everything that is already stretched out in there. Congratulations on your pregnancy and best wishes = )
