sharp lower abdominal pain

im having lower abdominal SHARP pains and my mucus plug has already broken, what could this mean?
My mucus plug broke almost a week ago and im having very sharp sudden pain right where her head should be (she is head down). Is this a sign of anything at all? What should i do?
Mucus plugs can rebuild themselves, too. But I agree, call your doctor or labour and delivery at the hospital and talk to someone, or go in and have them do a check. Her head could just be getting lower and squishing everything, but you need to be sure.
