stomach pain red wine

As of three years ago I have started having reactions to coffee, alcohol and acidic foods.?

Is this typical when you get older or indicative of other types of disorders? I’ve also contracted geographic tounge which I hear is quite common and I’m experiencing some chest pains in my lower left hand side. My bp is only 120/80 and I just had a very positive EKG. Even the slightest bit of coffee makes me sick to my stomach, so I’ve cut it out completely. Any alcohol, except for red wine, also makes me sick to my stomach. Both coffee and alcohol cause me to produce large amounts of mucous.

You should get that checked into. Could be an ulcer. Same thing happened to me with coffee too and I don’t have an ulcer. Try eating first before you drink coffee. It works for me. I can’t drink it on a empty stomach. As for the alcohol, the same may be true but I don’t have that symptom but I rarely drink anymore.
