causes for left upper quadrant abdominal pain

I feel constipated even though I have regular bowel movements? How do I fix it?
for the past three or four days, i have been feeling constipated. i have occasional abdominal cramping, feeling of fullness, and mild to moderate pain in the upper left quadrant of my abdomen at times accompanied by pain in the left floating ribs.
I have had regular bowel movements and there have been no changes in the diet, water intake of sleeping patterns.
i don’t really understand whats causing this and how i can cure it.
It could be gas, but I would go to a hospital just to be safe.
