I am 31 weeks pregnant and having lower abdominal pain/cramps? HELP!?

Like I said, I’m 31 weeks pregnant. Keep in mind that I am 17 years old, so this may be related to my small size (122 pounds) and my age group. Four days ago, I didn’t feel the baby move as much, so I went to the hospital 2 days ago. They said everything was normal, and the baby started moving his regular amount so I felt fine. Last night, I woke up having lower abdominal pain, right above my pubic bone. It was like a cramp and I almost started crying, and then it went away. This happened several times last night and this morning and still continues to happen. Could this be braxton hicks? Or could my body be preparing for preterm labor? Everyone says I’m really small for how many weeks/months I am along, including my doctors. I’m just really worried and scared because this is my first baby. Please help!!!
