lower right abdominal pain reasons
Lower abdominal pain?
I have been having lower abdominal pain/pelvic pain for about 2 months straight now. At first it wasn’t constant so I thought it was because I ate a big meal or something. I can feel it all day long. It’s worse with any prolonged activity: sitting, standing, walking, laying down etc. Sometimes it just flares up where I can’t even move for no reason. It’s all across my lower abdomen but sometimes I feel it more on the left other times the right. What could this possibly be?
I’ve tried pain medication and it has not worked at all. I don’t have the flu/haven’t had the flu and no indigestion. I have had this pain happen randomly since July and it has been constant since the end of October/beginning of November.
Hi, generalized pain occurs in half of the abdomen or more. Generalized pain can occur with many different illnesses. Indigestion and the stomach flu are common problems that can cause generalized pain. Home treatment may help relieve some of the discomfort. Generalized mild pain or crampy pain that becomes more severe over several hours may be a symptom of a blockage of the intestines (bowel obstruction).
