lower abdominal pain faint
Abdominal pain after sex?
I sometimes have sharp abdominal pain after sex. It’s on the lower right hand side below my navel. It lasts normally for about 15 minutes. It is unbearable and if it lasted longer I’d be calling an ambulance. It seems to happen at random times (not every time) and I can’t see any links to any certain types of activity. I have had an ultrasound for ovarian cysts with nothing found and no evidence of a recently burst cyst either.
Last night for the first time I also felt sudden nausea and as if I was going to have a bowel movement. My mouth filled up with saliva and I nearly fainted as I ran to the toilet. I was not sick however. Surprisingly once the nausea feelings passed (after a few minutes) the pain was gone – much quicker than normal.
Anyone have any ideas. Before it’s suggested – I’ve seen two doctors.
Ovarian Cysts can come and go and sometimes they hang around until they are quite large. Have a complete gynecological exam and tell the doc all you are experiencing cysts can appear in the fallopian tubes as well. Or you could have endometriosis. I would avoid sex until an all clear about all of these things. At least get a transvaginal ultra sound if this is not the kind you had.
