What are these abdominal pains?

I have just come off my holidays in Egypt, I went monday 23rd, the tuesday I had a bout of Doraa (sorry cant spell it). I thought Id better cut out all the obvious foods that could have caused it, fruit, salad and chicken and alcohol. Ever since I keep getting lower abdominal cramps that last for about 30 seconds that feels like I really have o go to the toilet and feels like a lot of dioreaha is going to come out, but nothing happens. It is very painful and makes me curl up. I got home late last night and have been having the pains today aswel, is this something that has happened because I’ve been in Egypt or could it be more?

you might have food poisoning or some kind of stomach virus, but given that you were out of the country in egypt i would suggest that you see your doctor because there is a possibility that you may have contracted something from there that could be very serious. in the mean time while you are waiting to be seen, drink plenty of fluids and eat a bland diet.
