abdominal pain elevated wbc
Is it possible that the blood in my stool coming from my internal hemorrhoids?how long hemorrhoids is gone?
i have rectal bleeding and painful. I have had blood in my stool for 2 months now.My ESR and WBC are elevated, my hemoglobin is within normal though.doc put me on ANALPRAM coz i also have internal hemmorhoids and irritation in my anal canal…the pain is lesser now but the blood in my stool still there. I have normal and regular bowel movement but my bowel sounds are hyperactive. I have no abdominal pain thanks God. Solely a rectal pain. Im taking tylenol when pain kicks in usually at night. Im afraid to have colonoscopy im too young to have that. My doc did anoscopy and he found out internal hemorrhoids and irritation in my anal canal. Is it necessary to have colonoscopy at my age?.. pls somebody can help me what to do…
I’d get the colonoscopy no matter your age, which you do not state. One of my students died of colon cancer a few years back, in her early 20s. Better safe than sorry.
