abdominal pain elevated lipase

doctors are stumped, and I’m only getting worse?

What could possibly cause someone to throw up all of their food/drink intake for 19 days straight, have lower left abdominal pain, diarrhea with mucus for over 3 weeks….but no fever, or nausea?

Amylase levels are elevated, lipase is normal.

CATscan, Ultrasound, fecal exam, and urine are all fine….not pregnant.

The doctors want to write it off as “psychological” but I know that’s not the case, they’re just running out of ideas.

I have a stomach scope tomorrow afternoon.

do you have any ideas?

side notes:I’ve been seeing a gastroenterologist for a few days (been hospitalized for the past 5 days because I got dehydrated from not being able to eat/drink).
I’ve also lost 10 pounds.
Had a ruptured ovarian cyst at the start of all of this, which has since cleared completely up
now I have a cyst on my cheek and one behind my ear…..

I’m going through a very similar situation right now so I know how you feel! I’ve been through 2 endoscopy/colonoscopy and they weren’t that bad. I would defiantly suggest switching doctors if the endoscopy doesn’t show anything. Good luck! Hope this helps! =)
