Abdominal Pain, Is it serious?
Ok, I have been having this dull abdominal pain for about a week now. It isn’t really bad but it is noticeable and can get pretty annoying. It usually comes on when I’m stressed and leaves once I calm down, although sometimes it does happen when I’m relatively calm. It hasn’t really gotten worse, but it hasn’t really gotten better. I went to the doctor who took some blood tests which concluded that my bilirubin levels are a little elevated. He said it was probably nothing but he wants me to go in tomorrow for an ultra sound. I’m worried that it might be something serious, I hear about stuff like appendicitis, and kidney stones, and it really freaks me out. Any help?
It’s hard to say until you get the ultra sound done. Is the pain on your side that’s where mine was when I had a kidney stone. I don’t think it would be your appendix.You usually get really sick(vomiting bile) and severe abd pain. Just try to relax. Wait until you get the results of the u.s. You’ll be ok. The main thing is to get it checked out. Good Luck.
