Do I have an intestinal parasite?
For the past 3 months I just haven’t felt right…I’m always tired, sometimes I completely lose my appetite and have to force myself to eat, and often have abdominal pain, lower to mid belly. A couple months ago my stool turned to a very light sandy color for almost a week, which I read can also be caused by worms.
Last night I made a bowel movement, and after wiping, there was this 1 1/2 inch long, 1/4 inch wide worm or something. The color of it, I would describe as a greyish mushroom. I could feel from under the toilet paper that it was rubbery, then I looked at the rest of my stool in the toilet, and there were two more.
This is scaring me, but at the same time I don’t want to go to the doctor’s because of the fact that I don’t want to give a stool sample. I never traveled anyplace out of state, I always wash my hands and produce, cook everything properly…idk….
I would go to the doc, sounds like tapeworm segments in your poop. Its a simple test to diagnose and a pill to cure you.
