how long can a woman continue to wear the coil as a contraceptive?
is it safe to wear the coil for more than five years as a contrceptive? do you think it should be changed? there was a time it gave me some acute abdominal pain but now i only feel the pain when i am menstruating. please advise me
If you have the Mirena which is the five year IUD…….the hormones run out in the five years. When this happens your periods and everything will come back. It will still prevent pregnancy while it is in place. (This is what my Dr told me.)
