Severe Lower Abdomen Pain, Nausea, Sweating?
I woke up at about 3am this morning with extremely sever abdominal pain, it felt like a ton of pressure and like someone was twisting or stabbing me inside… it was probably the most pain I have ever been in. I felt nauseous, and was covered in sweat, I was crying because it hurt so badly. I tried to take a bath because that usually helps but it didn’t. I work in the ER so I didn’t go in because I figured it was nothing and didnt want to be embarassed. This has happened 2 times before, once after rough sex, once out of the blue, and this time while I was sleeping. I often have ovarian cysts, it wasnt that type of pain, and I might have endometriosis, i am almost positive but for some reason my ob gyn thinks that this is a condition not worth validating, my question is, does anyone else ever have this happen, if so do you have endometriosis or what were you told if you saw someone about it? I am still having pain all day but it only gets worse in waves.
I seriously think you need a new gyno! I am only 20 yrs old and I can tell you that. You work in the ER so you should know that when I doctor is not looking further into a complaint like this then its time for a new gyno! I am only saying it like this because this is serious and you only have one body! I experienced this severe pain and nausea last month and I have a transvaginal ultrasound done which revealed a 4cm complex cyst that my gyno thinks is an endometrioma which means I probably have endometriosis. It will have to be removed. I get really bad pain in my stomach and lower back the week before my period from this but some women with endo get severe pain during their period so it can vary. Please find a new gyno and get a TVUS done ASAP! Best of luck and take care of yourself there is only one of you!
