abdominal pain shivering
My Dog is really sick…?
He is a Male Min-Pin
Symptoms:
Stared today
-Abdominal Pain
-Shivering/shaking
-wants me to rub his tummy (never wants this any other time)
-vomitting
-lack of apetite (extremely rare for him, he LOVES food!)
-Panting
Serious answers only please, I need to know if this is mega serious or if he has a bug or something, since it’s Easter and I’m the only one home with him.
He is a little over 3 years old, if that helps.
And I can’t tell if he is bloated or not because he’s a little…chubby.
Okay, I am fully aware that he needs to go to the vet, but he’s my parent’s Dog, and I’ve notified them of what’s going on.
I just want to know-from someone who ACTUALLY knows what they’re talking about-if it’s something that sounds more common or super serious.
There’s not much else I can do right now.
All those symptoms point to a foreign body. Does your dog eat things he is not supposed to, have you ever caught him chewing on something that he should not be? Blood work and radio-graphs is what your dog needs.
Edit: You mentioned bloat, a dead ringer sign of bloat is unproductive coughing, or dry heaving.
