abdominal pain varicocele
Diagnosed w/ Epididymitis , not so sure anymore.?
Slightly less than 2 months ago I was diagnosed w/ epididymitis and given antibiotics. Took those, the pain persisted so I went back and was given a longer script for the same antibiotics w/ the doctor seeming quite sure that it was just persistent epididymitis and nothing else.
I am about a week into the new cycle and I still feel slight lower abdominal pains from time to time as well as heaviness in my testicles. When I feel behind the testicles I notice the tubes behind one are somewhat hardened and discomforting to the touch. So my question is, has this branched off from the realm of epididymitis into something else, maybe a Varicocele perhaps? Or something else? The pain has gone away for a few days at a time on more than one occasion only to come back. Also, the pain has subsided considerably from when I first noticed the problem but still noticeable.
